This July, we’re spotlighting Erich Stefanzick who is celebrating 7 years at Kasselman Solar! Erich has worked a few different positions over the years here, and is currently working as an Electrical Foreman & Master Electrician.
Q: How did you start your career with Kasselman?
A: “I started my career at Kasselman 7 years ago as an installer/crew lead.”
Q: How has your role evolved over the years?
A: “My position has changed drastically over the past 7 years… starting from PV Installer, I grew into a crew lead position for a couple of years before I transitioned into an electrical technician… from there I gained skills and knowledge that I used to grow into an electrical foreman position… at that point I had enough experience to apply to take my master electrician exam which I just recently passed.”
Q: Can you share a valuable lesson or advice that you have learned during your time here?
A: “To have patience and absorb as much as you possibly can… you are never too experienced or knowledgeable to keep learning.”
Q: What do you enjoy about working at Kasselman?
A: “I enjoy the environment due to my coworkers that I have grown to know very well over the years… it’s a very family-oriented atmosphere.”
Q: What do you enjoy most about working in the field?
A: “I love learning new techniques and ways to adapt to the ever changing technology in the solar field.”
Q: Is there any advice you would give to someone looking to get into solar installation or field work?
A: “Patience, hard work, and determination will never go unnoticed in the solar field.”
