Kasselman Solar, a leading solar installer in New York State, is proud to announce we have received the NYSERDA Quality Solar Installer designation with Gold Status. NYSERDA, the government agency that oversees renewable energy and energy savings in New York, has released their Quality Solar Installers for 2023. NYSERDA’s Quality Solar Installer program works to recognize solar installers who meet or exceed quality assurance (QA) criteria and aide potential solar customers in choosing the most reliable installers.
To be eligible for Quality Solar Installer, all active solar builders who are in full status at the time of review must have completed at least 12 projects with an average field QA score of 4.0 or greater within the past calendar year. Installers who achieve Gold Status have achieved the Quality Solar Installer designation for three consecutive years.
The Quality Solar Installer designation is given to only a select few solar installers across all of New York State. According to EcoWatch, there are 640 solar installers in the entire state. Thus, being named a Quality Solar Installer is very prestigious. Not only that, Kasselman Solar received a nod of extra praise from NYSERDA with a Gold Status designation. Being named a Quality Solar Installer with Gold Status is the highest honor in New York.
